Getting unexpected 404s after uploading images to live site

Hi all,

I have created a "tsg" subdirectory of the "wwwdocs/img"
directory for the yapcna production site (yapcna.org) and
populated it with jpgs:

  wwwdocs/img/tsg/---all16.jpg
  wwwdocs/img/tsg/a01ace.jpg
  etc.

which I intend to be visible as:

  http://yapcna.org/img/tsg/---all16.jpg
  etc.

SVN shows the files checked in, and I could swear I viewed
these files via their URLs after I checked them in, and when
I do an SVN update my client says the server and the local
files are in sync, but I'm getting 404s when I now try to view
the files via the web.

Are the files actually on the server?

What am I doing wrong?
