Hello Max,
Sorry for the delay, I didn't see your email.
I guess the git repository was kinda stuck. I forced the update, the site is now up to date.

Hey S?bastien,
it has been a while (10 years I think) that I have maintained an Act instance.
Would it be doable to get a FOSDEM-2026 instance up and running over the weekend.
We ( the FOSDEM/TPRF presence team ) need a RSVP system, and we could do it several ways. Using Act might be overkill for registering for a community dinner. But we may actually extend it a bit more to make it look more attractive give, and more informative, instead of relying on Perl.org .
Most people that would RSVP are probably longstanding Perl die-hards that will have been to any of the events hosted in Europe, and can easily go through the procedure.
Surely, FOSDEM will last saturday/sunday, but we only have one 'talk' that folks can attend.Or, maybe add a pre-social at the Delerium.
Pleasee, what do you think ?
Doable ?
I guss, I will rip apart the old amsterdam conference :-)

Hey Theo
How are you?
No problem to set up a conference for that.
Probably overkill indeed, but it'll do the job.
Let me know the name of the "conference".

Hey Laurent,
yes, I'm doing fine, struggling with 'Networking' jargon at my current position, and gradually moving a codebase to a more flexible and more reliant piece of work.
Yes, it is overkill, but it definitely would do the job. It would be a perfect landing page for making announcements etc.
Looking at the timeframe, I'm uncertain about the implementation now, we only have two weeks to go, and time is a luxury item :-)
But having said that, no harm is done if we would build one as a playground, seee how far we could go with the concept, and be prepared for 2027.
If you're in for it, and help me rekindle with that old project, let us create FOSDEM-2026, and start playing, without the time pressure. There will be a few interesting things that need to be extended :-)

Hello
Done.
Repo: https://github.com/Act-Conferences/fosdem2026
You're admin of the repo.
test site (the branch "master") : http://test.mongueurs.net/fosdem2026/
real site (the branch "production") : https://act.yapc.eu/fosdem2026/
(This is the most basic skeleton available with Act.)
You're admin of the conference, but remind that you need to register to
the conf to acces to "admin" menus.

TPC-Amsterdam-2015 ... that was the last time I touched Act, and build an entire CMS in TT
going to be fun to transform that back into a FOSDEM-2026 / FOSDEM-2027

Hi,
could you create an Act instance for PTS 2026?
You can copy the one from 2025 and use the same permissions.
