I believe you would like the conference organisers paying that :-) On the other hand, we have already got a sponsor willing to pay with AMEX, and there were a number of requests from the attendees in 2011. Given how the online payment system works, the option is going to be available to all conferences (from the point of view of the bank, there's only one organization that sells things online using its bank account: YEF). Thanks Sebastien. (That's my public key.) I think I may have missed some emails that came before because I don't know what this give me access to. An SVN repo? Message-ID: svn://svn.mongueurs.net/yn2013 http://yapcna.org I moved 20 files in the SVN repo corresponding to our live yapcna.org website from actdocs/static to wwwdocs. Then I removed most of those from the wwwdocs directory. (And then waited 10 minutes.) For example, I moved the register.html file from the actdocs/static directory to the wwwdocs directory and then deleted it: http://www.yapcna.org/yn2013/register.html The files still appear in the live site and it doesn't seem to be a caching issue. Am I being an idiot somehow or is this a limitation of the scripting that's doing the automatic periodic site refresh from repo, and if so, what do I do to remove them? You'll need to sign a contract with YEF, which refunds the money on a roughly monthly basis. - TPF, which is connected to the TPF bank account. Accepts payments in USD. I added Todd's key to the authorized_keys file that I see in the ~/.ssh directory when I log in using my (raiph) keys. So now there are two keys in that file, mine and Todd's. But I was thinking this is in *my* ~/.ssh file, and the file was shown as owned by raiph, and I know that Aaron had access at some point and his key isn't in that file, so maybe this won't work or at least isn't how it's supposed to be done? I don't know if Todd has tried to login since I added his key to "my" (?) authorized_keys file. -- raiph From domm at cpan.org Tue Jan 29 09:03:21 2013 From: domm at cpan.org (Thomas Klausner) Date: Tue, 29 Jan 2013 09:03:21 +0100 Subject: act site for nlpw2013 ready to go live In-Reply-To: References: <4CCE22DE.6060102@xs4all.nl> <50FC7ABA.2060209@xs4all.nl> <51029190.5040008@xs4all.nl> Message-ID: <20130129080321.GA19894@desther.wien.vpn.validad.net> Hi! Aaron has how own account. There is now reason why it would not work: organizers of other conferences have successfully shared a same account between multiple people. The test site is online: ? http://test.mongueurs.net/plpw2013/ The corresponding files are available in your ~/plpw2013-test/ on tadzik at test.mongueurs.net This site runs on a separate instance of Act, so you'll have to create a new account there. This allows you to hack on the site while it is not public. Once you are satisfied with the test site, we'll create a production site on its final domain. If you never worked on Act before, you'll want to read the documentation for organizers, especially the Configuration, Layout and Templates sections: ? http://act.mongueurs.net/doc/Manual/Organizer.html Mostly, you need to modify the template parts, based on Template Toolkit 2. The basic appearance is very basic. Feel free to ask other organizers to steel their design ;) Most of the settings of the conferences are in the actdocs/conf/act.ini configuration file. I already configured the dates and the address for receiving the talks proposals. However, I note that we have no Polish translation, so I kept everything in English. If you want it in Polish, the .po file is here: ? https://github.com/book/Act/blob/master/po/en.po -- S?bastien Aperghis-Tramoni Close the world, txEn eht nepO.
