How to confirm attendance of someone extra?

hi,

if I am not mistake organizers and people with accepted talk are
automatically marked
as "committed users" in the "stats" page.
I guess once I manage to set up and accept payments via Act, people
who paid will also show
up as "committed users".

Can I mark someone else as "committed" ? (e.g. someone who is supposed
to get a free pass
or someone who paid outside of the Act system?)

Do I understand correctly that the "Confirm Attendance" menu option is for this?
What is the "Order ID: " one needs to type in? ( I tried the user ID
of some users but
it told me "Unknown order ID. ")

Can I later "unconfirm" people?
